Hump Day Happy: Terracotta Soldiers

Yay! It's that day of the week!  Happy Hump Day everyone! I just get so excited on Wednesday. I feel like I can finally breathe! Monday and Tuesday take so darn long to get through and then you hit Wednesday and it's time to let loose a little bit. Here are my thoughts on how the week goes.

Monday: Not so bad b/c you can talk about your weekend with your co-workers
Tuesday: SUCKS!Absolutely nothing exciting about this day. No more weekend chats and its still too far from the next weekend.
Wednesday: Hump Day! You've made it this far, and you don't have far to go!
Thursday: Gotta love Thirsty Thursday. Presently means the end of the work week for me, but there are also a lot of good happy hour goodies to hit up!
Friday: This one is a given! TGIF!
Saturday: More relaxation
Sunday: Recover from it all!

I think that's a pretty good breakdown of how a week goes, at least how my week goes. If you had to work on other days, I'm sure they are not as exciting!

Okay so its time for my favorite post! This week's Hump Day Happy is, I think, more interesting than happy. I suppose if you are/were China's first emperor, then I suppose you would be happy about archaeologists finding 110 new terracotta soldiers for your army of already nearly 8,000 terracotta soldiers!

I find this very interesting! I love little eccentricities of people throughout history. Evidently, the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang began building the Terracotta army/Mausoleum when he ascended the throne around 246 BC. It would then take another 11 years to complete. Very interesting stuff.

Until Next Time!
Lots of Love!!

  1. Yea, you and I are almost on the same page about how we feel about each day of the week, but Sundays are my Mondays so you'd have to move the timeline up one day for it to match. ;) And I love random historical facts...they are great for helping you win random trivia questions.
