Crystal City Cave: Disc Golfing

The weekend that Garrett left for Omaha, we spent some quality time in a cave in Crystal City, MO. Garrett and Ryan have recently gotten into Disc Golfing or Frisbee Golf. Therefore,  I have to play not that I mind. It is kind of fun, although I don't quite have the hang of it just yet. Half of the time, I shoot them way up in the air and they go some crazy direction. It was very nice to spend time in a nice cool cave while it was muggy and humid outside. Here are a few pictures from our adventure!

In the cave, there are also sand volleyball courts. We don't know if there is a league or something but it definitely looked like something that would be fun to try in the future.

Another fun thing was that the beer was super cheap! The first round, we drink as we played but for round two we decided that it would be best if we stopped before Hole 10 and just relax. It's not very easy to play Frisbee Golf with frisbee in one hand and a beer in the other!

They were playing the Cards game on the wall but not the Mizzou game! Boo!

Sunday afternoon, I helped Garrett pack! This is me helping to pack by wearing his AF boots! Love the boots, but they make my feet look big! Lol!

It took awhile to pack. What does one pack when they are going to be gone for two months in two very different cities? Omaha, NE and Las Vegas, NV. With any luck, we will be in one of these two locations. Stay tuned! We find out in December!

I had to get a shot of Garrett with his two months luggage. It actually looks like less than it really was!

Garrett has now been in  Omaha for nearly three weeks. From what he says, it sounds like things are going well! So that's amazing! And on Friday, I'm heading up there myself! I'm excited to check out a new city that I have never been to and am ready and willing to be persuaded that Omaha would be more fun than Las Vegas. Here's to hoping he does a  good job convincing! Stay tuned for pictures of the trip next week!!!

Until Next Time!
Lots of Love!!

  2. I hope you are enjoying your weekend in Omaha with the hubby and I can't wait to hear about the adventures and how much convincing (if any) he had to do.

Frisbee golf looks like a lot of fun especially in a cave with beer. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it soon. :)
