Meet Clio and Playing at the Cabin

It occured to me the other day that Clio had not made the blog yet. How could that be?! Well what can I say about my silly little Clio. Well, she's a Jack Russell Terrier mix, which means she's super crazy! She has so much energy! Probably doesn't help that she's only a year and a half old! (Which is exactly what a nursing student and med student want to deal with. A spastic dog. What were we thinking?!)

She is following Achilles with a Greek name of her own. She is the Muse of History. However, upon further assessment, she acts more like Cleopatra, Queen of the Entire House. Oh how wrong she is. That would be me!

She loves to hide in what we call the "Clio Cave" underneath the coffee table with a blanket over it. Then she pops her little head out every once and awhile to check things out. I think she has been really good for Achilles. He was getting to lazy in his advanced age. For the first few weeks, he kept looking at Garrett and I with a look as if to say, "What is this little monster thing you two brought in here? Seriously, not cool." After a little while, Achilles seemed to get used to Clio and now they are best friends. They wrestle all the time and snuggle too! They are adorable together.

This past weekend, we headed down to the cabin for some fun. We did a ton of playing and today I'm trying to remember what we did that would make my body so sore. Well, I got two words for you, THE NEPHEWS. Silly little boys who are always on the go, especially Clayton. He was cracking me up all weekend long. Aunt Anna, can I run? Sure, you run and we'll follow. Little speed demon!! Abby wants to sign him up for cross country after all the running this weekend.

There were of course bugs and frogs to bring to Aunt Anna because "they're her favorite" We had lots of fun! We also shot some skeet, dropped one of Cyle's guns on my head from the Blue Ray (from which I'm still stylin' a bump on the head from), road the four-wheeler, ate Smeeses, and had a good time and many laughs!

Oh and we celebrated Curt's birthday!! Happy Birthday again Curt!!! Hope you had a fun weekend because we sure did!

I took these pictures on my Iphone. I wasn't impressed with it indoors, but it takes pretty good pictures outisde.

Clayton put his hat on Achilles, who was so worn out that he didn't bother to move at all.

Silly Achilles was so pooped. He did a lot of running, but that's good for him!

Little Miss made an appearance with Abby for a while on Saturday. She was my best friend since I had the giant poofy cheetos swirls.

We managed to even wear little Clio out too. She followed me everywhere. I went on a Blue Ray ride; she chased after it the entire time. I went on a 4-wheeler ride, Clio chased me the whole time. Then she also chased Garrett when he went. She was a little tired by the end. (Not to mention totally caked over in mud from all the rain!)

Little Clio before all the running!!!!

One of the moths that didn't last too long in Levi's hands. (I didn't feel the need to take pictures of the frogs and worms that were brought later, even though the worms were the size of small snakes)

I also took some time to do some reading this weekend. I read The Hunger Games. LOVED.IT.
Seriously, I'm contemplating forcing Garrett to go see the movie this weekend, even though it would be uttered madness, but seriously, LOVED IT. If you haven't read it yet, seriously, what are you waiting for? Amazing book.

Until Next Time!
Lots of Love!!
~A
