This past Saturday, Garrett and I attended SLU SOMPROM, which translates to School of Medicine Prom. I think the title was a bit cheesy, but we still had a fantastic time. I spent far too much money on my fabulous orange dress but it was totally worth it. Abby, Dan, Ming, Sharon, and Ted came over to Garrett's apartment before the dance. While I worked on Abby's hair and chatted with Sharon, the boys had drinks in the kitchen.
The formal was The Sheldon in St. Louis, which is a concert hall/art gallery. So it was very elegant. I felt very classy. The evening was quite lovely!
We stole the boys ties and wore them for the rest of the night. They looked even better on us than them.
Garrett and I had some pretty sweet dance moves ourselves.
So how about that? Two posts in less than 24 hours!? Don't get used to it. I just had some fun things to post about. Spring break and a formal. Oh how I miss the formals and other parties like it from Mizzou. I miss you girls more than I can say. So here is my shout out to my girls! Here's to breaking mirrors in bathrooms with our heels. taking hayrides, dressing up as cowboys and indians, taking pictures with the autotimer on our cameras, sliding home on our tushies on the ice from a party, trops, swimming in fountains, football games, and being young and free.
