Almost Forgot

I feel awful because I forgot to post these a long time ago! Our friends Charity and Greg got engaged and I just wanted to give a shout out to them! And a congrats as well!!! We love you both!

And also a belated shout out to my sister, Cindy, who, according to my mother and her friends, has officially escape teen pregnancy as she turned 20 on the 27th of June! Happy Belated Birthday!!

On another note, Rachel, here it is! Proof! Sometimes men do clean...caught them! Doing the dishes after we had a shrimp boil for Cindy's birthday!

Until Next Time!

Summer So Far

Summer so far has been busy and not busy at the same time! I haven't uploaded pictures in forever!!! Garrett mentioned last night that there has not been much about us lately on the blog. I'm working on it. First I lost my camera charger so I haven't taken pictures in forever. Then I found the charger when we moved and have since been taking pictures. Sorry, no pictures of the new place yet because its still in chaos! Soon, I promise So let's travel back to the beginning of June and Garrett's 26th birthday!

For Garrett's 26th, he had to work. Surgery rotation but the good news there is that he was done a week later. So in the evening of his birthday, we hit up one of our new favorite places. The Urban Chestnut. And bonus! They now have a Biergarten! We had a good time with friends, my sister, her bf, and my dad.

I have no idea what was going on here.

Yay for a good picture of us!

The weekend after Garrett took his final shelf exam, we headed to the cabin for a relaxing weekend! The boys put out a trot line and they hauled in 9 catfish. Several filets are chilling in our freezer right now and are ready for a fish fry! The niece and nephews were very entertaining during the whole escapade.

The next week, my parents had a little party that was for Father's Day as well as all the June Birthdays in the family.

Showing off their clothes!! Although I do not think neon green goes with camo.

Last weekend, we went to the Dierks Bentley concert for free under the Arch! Love those concerts!

The only problem was that there was a fantastic lightning show above the Arch that night and they called off the concert after only 4/5 songs! The songs we heard we awesome! We were just bummed that we didn't get to see more!

Its been a fun few weeks, but now Garrett is back to school and I leave tomorrow for vacation on Marco Island! Looking forward to posting all about that!!

Until Next Time!

Hump Day Happy: 6 Airmen Come Home

Okay so I know its not Hump Day, but I missed Hump Day last week because I was celebrating the independence of this wonderful country at the pool! And I'm also a little bored today so I'm going to do last week's post today!!! Get excited!!!

In honor of last week being the 4th of July, I'm going with a military related post. There are no pictures with the article, but I'll do my best. Its the story of 6 Airmen that went down in 1965. The remains were finally rediscovered in 2010/2011. I love stories about our boys making it home, whether they are alive or not. It means that they are home and not left somewhere forgotten.

I do not how many people have been to Arlington National Cemetery, but there is the Tomb of the Unknowns or the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The tomb is in memory of fallen soldiers from World War I, World War II, Korea, and Vietnam.

Happy Belated 4th of July!

Until Next Time!

Annoyed.

How do you fry just the wireless part of a modem!? Someone please tell me how!? Magically, in the midst of Rocky 5, our wireless internet died! There we were having, or trying to have, a nice relaxing evening at home while enjoying the Italian Stallion, when abruptly it died. Talk about a buzz kill! So I am unable to upload anything right now until we get our new router/modem/whatever it is.

Good luck to the hubs who officially starts the last year of med school today! I have a feeling that this last year is going to fly and I'm thinking its because the rotations are all shorter. The longest rotations he will have will be a month long and those he'll be spending in Omaha and Las Vegas. Good luck baby!

Anyway, just a short post. Mostly an annoyed post due to my lack of ability to post pictures of the last few weekends! Hopefully, I'll get them up before we leave for Marco Island on Thursday!

Until Next Time!
