Pinterest is addicting and puts way too many ideas in my head. Seriously. I don't have time to do these things, yet somehow I do them. I should be studying or cleaning my apartment, but I'm not.
Last week, I made the chalkboard thing, just like Rachel. I think I am going to have to rewrite the schedule as it got smudged afterwards.
This past weekend was a very busy one. Friday night was Eric's 50th birthday. My parents got him this hilarious bottle of tequila. Its shaped like a shotgun! (However, you can't really tell in this picture) I just don't understand it. Sometimes my iphone takes the best pictures and then other times they look absolutely terrible, ie this picture.
KK made a jaychicken in art class. Kidding. It was supposed to be a parrot, which is does look like, but it also closely resembles a jaychicken. My sisters and I had various thoughts about how to go about destroying it. It was a rather wide range of demises for the creature, from dynamite to slipshot and shooting it with a shotgun. However, in the end, we didn't do anything to it, for now.
Saturday, I had another Pinterest project to complete. They were Easter egg shaped rice crispy treats. They turned out so cute!
After I shaped them, I dipped them in pastel colors and put some sprinkles on them! Delicious!
Absolutely gorgeous flower that I forgot to ask Garrett's mom what its called. And I love it whenn Easter eggs are hidden for well...or rather very obviously.
I think we all had a good time on Easter. Its fun for the kids to race around for the eggs and its equally fun watching the kids running around to get the eggs. Several times yesterday we were asked the inevitable "don't you want kids/when are you two going to have one?" questions. No worries, they are in the future but only time will tell how far in the future...
Happy Easter everyone!
Until Next Time!
Lots of Love!!
