Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

The Saturday before Halloween, we decided to go to Eckert's Pumpkin Patch for the wonderful tradition of the Halloween pumpkin.

Abby and Dan came too!! We had lots of fun on the super long 'hayride' Lol!!! It was like 100 yards and they dropped you off at the little field with pumpkins.

Abby and I took a break from the great pumpkin search in order to take a picture.

Dan found his pumpkin, but Abby and I were still playing with the camera!

We took a picture of the two of them with their pumpkin, but not of Garrett, our pumpkin, and me! What's up with that? Especially since ours was far more impressive. Theirs was only 17 pounds, whereas Garrett and I brought home a whooper of a pumpkin. 25 pounds!!!

The pumpkin patch was lots of fun. After purchasing our pumpkins, we went in to the cafe and enjoyed a delicious meal. Abby and Dan also got to experience a convertible for the first time. All in all, good trip!

Until next time!

Oktoberfest at Soulard

Oktoberfest might officially be my most favorite holiday now! We had so much fun! The event actually started two weeks before we actually went down to Soulard with me talking Garrett into wearing lederhosen. My dad has two pairs and since no one was going to wear the other set, I suggested that Garrett might wear them. The only bummer is that I didn't get a long shot of the two us in our lederhosen and dirndl.

Garrett and I at the beginning of the evening. It was quite an evening, let me tell you. So many people wanted to take pictures with us. It was really fun!

My parents friends, well at least the women, posing for a picture. Everyone rocks the dirndl, except Janet on the end there.

I'm not sure what song the band was playing at this point, but we were having lots of fun!

My mom and I smiling for the camera.

My dad and I dancing! Ein Prosit!

Garrett and I near the end of the evening. Then I had to take him home :( But we did have a glorious time!

Last picture on my camera from the evening. I think it accurately describes all the fun we were having!

Until Next Time!!

In about a month....

...I'll be visiting Rachel in Texas!! I honor of this fantastic trip, I thought it would be fun to post some fun pictures from over the years. (It's gross that I can say that, over the years, makes me feel really old!)

Rachel and I when my sister and Molly came to visit in 2006. Omg! That was forever ago!

Rachel and I, with sillies in the background, at Skit 2006 with AgRho. So many pomping hours!

Skip forward a year to Halloween 2007! Cute little bunny!!

Here is the day I was officially legal!! And we decided to make silly faces at the camera all night long!!

Rach and I at a Pep rally!! We saw some good football while we were at Mizzou!! We were Number 1, even if it was only for a week! How many schools can say that?!

I just love Jeff's face in this one! At first I wasn't sure which event this was from, but looking at the rest of the pictures, I have decided it was from the Cowboys & Indians party! That was fun too!

Jumping on the bed in Rolla!! St. Pat's 2008! Such a good time!!

Group shot at the Cowboys & Indians party!!

Rach and I on the way to Rolla for St. Pat's

The Three Amigos!! Look out Texas! The three amigos are just looking for a good time come November!!!!

Countdown: 29 days until I leave for Texas!!
Until Next Time!!

I'm Jealous...

of my parents and sister for their recent trip to Germany! They left September 14th and returned on September 23rd. Nice little vacation for them. They were in Munchen for opening weekend of Oktoberfest! They saw the Neuschwanstein Castle, Hitler's Eagle Nest, Zugspitze mounatin, and many others. So jealous. It has been 11 years since I was there. Such a beautiful country. Just a brief glance here for those of us with a love for beautiful country.

There were many more pictures, but I chose my favorites to show with you! There was a funny one of my dad and KK standing on the edge of the mountain, but I can' seem to find that one.

Garrett and I, along with my parents and a bunch of their friends, are going to Soulard's Oktoberfest next weekend! So stay tuned for Garrett and I rocking our lederhosen and dirndls!!

Until Next Time!
Lots of Love!!
