Christmas Puppy!

My sweet little Achilles was such a good helper while I decorated the apartment. After I was finished, he was nice enough to let me decorate him with a garland of his own!!

Such a cutie!!!

He was so happy with his garland that I think he would have sat there all day! Lol!!

Not the best picture, but he was just so cute sitting in front of the Christmas tree!!

Countdown 'til Christmas: 16 days!

Until Next Time!

Turkey Week

Wow. This is sadly overdue. Why is it that the last three weeks of the semester are ridiculously busy? Seriously. It's ridiculous! All right, so back to Thanksgiving. It began on the Friday before Thanksgiving with a birthday party for KK. In the Kramp house, we you turn 14, we do a party that involves...yarn.

Here are Lara and I posing with the string before we started setting up the madness.

Basically, we created a maze of yarn that went all around the house. Some of the lines went out around the cars and around the basketball pole. All of the girls start at one spot and end at different spots where they have found their prize at the end of the yarn. I don't know who had more fun, Lara and I or the girls...

The view from the top of the stairs.

It was then on to my first deer season. Needless to say, it wasn't very successful. No deer for Anna. In fact, we didn't even see one. Okay, well to satisfy Garrett, we saw five, BUT they were way out of range AND it was too late to shoot them anyway, so really, they DON'T count. We sat in the woods for three days without seeing a deer. Now I ask you, why do people do this?! Why sit out in the cold if you aren't going to see anything? Okay, we did see a peacock. In the picture below, you can hardly tell, but Garrett was trying to take a picture of the peacock through his scope. It was entertaining!

The view down. Holy crap is was high. It may not really seem that way, but when you are sitting up there and the wind blows, heck yes it's high.

I feel like I looked really scary! The boys made me shower with the Scentaway stuff that makes you smell like nothing. I didn't particularly enjoy smelling like nothing.

Garrett expected me to climb up this tree. Okay, so it really wasn't difficult the first time, but the second time the branches were slightly wet, and I didn't think I would make it up. I kept waiting for my foot to slip and then go smack! on the ground! No worries. It didn't happen.

After I made it up, we took a picture. Orange and camo. Let me tell you. Those are my colors! Lol!!!

The week continued with Thanksgivings and my aunt's 50th birthday. We had a lovely week of non-stop togetherness, which I won't lie, I absolutely loved!

Thanksgiving was absolutely lovely. I thoroughly loved spending so much time with Garrett and our families. I'm really looking forward to Christmas, if only I survive finals and the rest of my Christmas shopping!

Until Next Time!!
Lots of Love!!!

How the Mizzou Tigers Broke My Heart in Texas...Again...

The trip to San Antonio, Texas in November 2007. It was the one glorious week in Mizzou football history where the Tigers were at the TOP of the BCS standings. And what a glorious week it was. Amanda, Claire, Holly, Cory and I decided we would venture down to San Antonio for the Big 12 Championship against Oklahoma . Little did I know that this would be the first time that the Tigers would break my heart in Texas.

See...We were happy at one point...only after some delicious margaritas from The Republic of Texas. (That was probably the highlight of the trip!)

On to Trip #2 to Texas. It was so much fun to finally see Rachel for more than a few hours at a time!! We spent some quality time with the puppies and I got to experience the Salad Wagon. Then it was off to Lubbock for some Mizzou Football! We roll into the hotel and see this lovely semi-truck. First hint that something is going on.

Then we see a huge charter bus with the Mizzou Tiger on it. Hmmm hint hint again.

Hint #3 was a dead give away. Lots of rather large guys in the lobby wearing matching jumpsuits. Guys don't do matchy-matchy.

The team stayed at the same hotel as us! It was lots of fun! Friday night after a night partying on the town, I stole the signs from the rooms that said who was wear. Yes, I'm a clepto!

The three amigos stumbling our way back to the hotel. We had lots of fun!!

Heart on fire!!!! One of our better ones!

Mizzou cheer-man runs with the flag across the field.

Looking very happy, obviously this was before the game started...

All in all the trip was loads of fun!! Although, Amanda has now banned me from Mizzou/Texas football games in the future.

Until next time!!

A Good Night to Dance

Halloween. A holiday that is rapidly moving up on my list of favorite holidays. The time of ghouls and goblins, ghosts and skeletons, and Dracula and Frankenstein. For the third year in a row, Garrett and I hosted a Halloween party. As usual, I got out the Halloween decorations and proceeded to decorate the apartment. After doing so, I decided that I needed more. Then I got more decorations, I was ready to rock n'roll. All I had to do now, was wait for Amanda to arrive.

After getting all dressed up, it was time for the party to begin.

I didn't get a picture of Achilles, but he was very cute and matched Garrett and I. Here's Garrett and I in full Wild West costume. Ready to rock n' roll!

Amanda and I. Saloon girl and the Queen of Hearts. She did an excellent job sewing the costumes! Thanks lady!! What shall we do next year?!!

Dan and Abby. Or rather Captain Dan and Wench Abby. All their tattoos were awesome!!

Abby, Amanda, and I looking fabulous!!

Group shot of some of the ladies! Wonderful!

I somehow got Captain Dan's sword and made some kind of threat. Don't know what it was though...

Ted and I dancing to something. Ted went as Billy Mays, complete with Oxi-Clean and bag of cocaine. He was very entertaining!

Two of the guys dressed up as ladies/school girls complete with balloon boobs.

This one may be my favorite of the whole evening! We were having so much fun!!!

I'm pretty sure this was a Gaga moment!

Finally got Garrett on the dance floor!!!

I think this is another good shot of the night. It accurately depicts all the fun!!!

"Off with his head!!" ~Thank you oh lovely Queen of Hearts!

They wanted a country song to dance to. They were so cute!!

The Queen of Hearts and her little white rabbit who's not so little anymore.

The Halloween party was a huge success and epically fun! I can hardly wait for next years!!! Garrett and I are thinking, at least for right now, 1920s ganster w/Tommy gun and a flapper!!

Until Next Time!!

Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

The Saturday before Halloween, we decided to go to Eckert's Pumpkin Patch for the wonderful tradition of the Halloween pumpkin.

Abby and Dan came too!! We had lots of fun on the super long 'hayride' Lol!!! It was like 100 yards and they dropped you off at the little field with pumpkins.

Abby and I took a break from the great pumpkin search in order to take a picture.

Dan found his pumpkin, but Abby and I were still playing with the camera!

We took a picture of the two of them with their pumpkin, but not of Garrett, our pumpkin, and me! What's up with that? Especially since ours was far more impressive. Theirs was only 17 pounds, whereas Garrett and I brought home a whooper of a pumpkin. 25 pounds!!!

The pumpkin patch was lots of fun. After purchasing our pumpkins, we went in to the cafe and enjoyed a delicious meal. Abby and Dan also got to experience a convertible for the first time. All in all, good trip!

Until next time!

Oktoberfest at Soulard

Oktoberfest might officially be my most favorite holiday now! We had so much fun! The event actually started two weeks before we actually went down to Soulard with me talking Garrett into wearing lederhosen. My dad has two pairs and since no one was going to wear the other set, I suggested that Garrett might wear them. The only bummer is that I didn't get a long shot of the two us in our lederhosen and dirndl.

Garrett and I at the beginning of the evening. It was quite an evening, let me tell you. So many people wanted to take pictures with us. It was really fun!

My parents friends, well at least the women, posing for a picture. Everyone rocks the dirndl, except Janet on the end there.

I'm not sure what song the band was playing at this point, but we were having lots of fun!

My mom and I smiling for the camera.

My dad and I dancing! Ein Prosit!

Garrett and I near the end of the evening. Then I had to take him home :( But we did have a glorious time!

Last picture on my camera from the evening. I think it accurately describes all the fun we were having!

Until Next Time!!
